Absolutely. We use secure encryption and adhere to HIPAA requirements to protect patient data. Bunji also complies with other privacy standards, including Canada’s PIPEDA.
Bunji is built specifically for referrals. It’s real-time, HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant, with secure file sharing and integrated messaging. Unlike email, which isn’t secure or compliant, or paper forms, which are easy to lose or forget, Bunji keeps all your referrals in one place. No more patient leakage from misplaced paperwork or missed emails. You can send digital referrals directly to patients, chat with the specialist involved, and track or filter past referrals easily. It makes the referral process smoother, helps you retain more patients, keeps specialists in the loop, and ensures patient data is actually protected.
After signing in, click Referrals then Add Referral. Choose a specialist from your list (or add one by email) and select a patient (or add one). Next, specify the reason and attach any files or additional notes. The specialist and patient will be notified. (Note: Specialists can reply and upload files on an existing referral but cannot create one.)
Log in to your Bunji Dashboard to view all active referrals. You’ll receive real-time status updates and notifications, so you never have to chase down your referrals.

Yes. Bunji supports secure file sharing, so you can attach x-rays, images, or documents directly to referrals. All files are encrypted both in transit and at rest.
Yes, two-factor authentication can be enabled in your Settings for extra security. Rest assured, Bunji is built with robust security measures: all data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we adhere to strict standards like HIPAA and PIPEDA. We also use secure file sharing protocols and conduct regular security audits to protect your information.
We offer a 3-month free trial so you can explore Bunji. After that, monthly fees apply. You can cancel anytime from your Payment Management without being charged before your trial ends.
You can link accounts to quickly switch between them without logging out. You can also add a secondary email in Settings to have notifications sent to another email (e.g., your front desk) in addition to your primary account.
Each account is designed for one dentist. However, you can use Linked Accounts to add multiple dentists, and add a secondary email in Settings so that your front desk also gets notified. We keep the accounts separated for security reasons as each dentist only sees their patients and referrals, making it easy to switch if they leave a shared clinic.
Yes. Specialists must log in to securely view referrals. Using a magic link or email alone wouldn't be secure enough. By requiring an account, Bunji ensures only authorized specialists access patient information, keeping data secure and referrals easy to manage.
